A toast to our late gentle giant, Bentley the Newfoundland. Tart and Bing Cherry, caramelized honey, and buckwheat honey make this a dark, stout-like mead that's almost as irresistible as the pooch himself. This Bochet style (mead made with caramelized honey) is a history mead making style out of Normandy. Inspired also by our mead maker, who is a decendent of up the line of Richard I, “Richard the Fearless,” Count of Rouen / Duke of Normandy (932-996), including his father William Longsword, and his Grandfather Rollo, a Viking who became the first ruler of Normandy. 6.5% ABV, 500ML
